About us
A small company with a focused purpose
OMAC (FZE) is a technology company registered in the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park in the United Arab Emirates. We design and build accessibility software for blind and visually impaired people.
Much of today's technology is still built without blind and visually impaired people in mind. Our goal is to remove those barriers, so that information, services and everyday technology can be used independently.

ATHINA AD: hear what others see
ATHINA AD is made and run by OMAC (FZE).
ATHINA AD makes videos accessible by adding narrated scene descriptions, also known as audio description. It analyses both the picture and the sound, so it does not depend on an existing transcript.
How it works
- Add a video. Upload a video file or paste a YouTube link.
- Choose your output. Transcript, written description, narrated audio, and a choice of voice.
- Start the analysis. ATHINA AD analyses the video and its audio together.
- Read, listen or download. Use the result right away or save it for later.
